Roger and Melanie Hoffman have enjoyed rich and varied experiences throughout their musical careers. Roger's vocal work includes solos with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and dozens of other recorded works. He has also been a soloist with the Choir on "Music and the Spoken Word." He has received awards for his compositions including the CLIO, Peabody and New York Film Festival awards. As a songwriter, his most recognized work is "Consider the Lilies of the Field.” In 2009, Roger co-composed the musical score for “The Eternal Christ” DVD by Truman Madsen.
Melanie is an award-winning songwriter whose life-time focus has been children. Her best known works include the “Scripture Scouts” and “Alexander's Amazing Adventures” series. With their partners, Marvin Payne and Steven Kapp Perry, the Hoffmans have written for National Geographic TV. Melanie is currently producing and directing children’s programming for BYU TV.
The Hoffmans reside in Orem, Utah. They work frequently with their four sons who are also involved in the media.
